Joseph Giam
Managing Director

Under Joseph Giam’s leadership, Glocomp has become the leading player in each of the key market segments, offering the best-of-breed IT infrastructure solutions with world-class customer service. As the Executive Director, his role is to formulate long-term strategies and drive the company’s business development plans. Over the last 26 years, he spearheaded the evolution of the company – from an office automation integrator to an enterprise ICT products and services distribution in the country, representing over 20 technology providers.

He acquired a bachelor’s degree in Computing and Information Systems from Monash University, Caufield, and completed the IT Business System program at Monash Business School, Clayton.

Alex Liew
Executive Director

Alex Liew, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Glocomp Systems, spearheads the private sector sales team, channels, and partnerships. Leveraging over 25 years of industry expertise, his strategic direction has been fundamental in not only establishing but also fostering Glocomp Systems' presence and success within Malaysia's private sector marketplace. Under his leadership, the team has successfully secured major ICT projects across diverse industry verticals.

Alex holds esteemed positions within The National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM), serving as Deputy Chairman and Cybersecurity Chapter Advisor. His extensive engagement across multiple sectors, including government, utilities, FSI, and education, contributes significantly to industry-wide growth. Collaborations between PIKOM and influential organizations such as Cybersecurity Malaysia, NACSA, ISC2, and CSA have been pivotal in fortifying the industry's landscape.

Furthermore, as a Council Member and Chairman of the ICT, Automation, and Robotics Committee at the Master Builders Association of Malaysia, Alex provides strategic guidance and actively promotes the integration of technology within the construction industry.

Alex Liew
Executive Director

Alex Liew leads the private sector division of Glocomp, playing a crucial role in maintaining relationships with private sector marketplaces in Malaysia. He has also played a major role in leading the private sector sales team in securing major ICT projects from various vertical industries. Aside from that, he is a Council Member of The National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) – the Chair of the Cybersecurity Chapter. With 20 years of experience in the industry, he is well-versed in engaging with different sectors, including government, utilities, FSI, education, etc. As such, he is advising on and promoting ICT in the construction industry, as the Deputy Chair of ICT Committee in Master Builders Association of Malaysia.

Alex graduated in a degree of Arts with honours from University of Malaya, Malaysia.

Chan Yue Mun
Executive Director

Chan Yue Mun bringing more than 24 years of management and financial experience gained working in financial institution. He has a vast exposure in various divisions, including sales and marketing, credit evaluation, debt restructuring, credit administration and operation.

He graduated from College Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Chan Tze Ming
Executive Director

Chan Tze Ming leads a team of technology services professionals located across Malaysia. He is focused in expanding and managing Glocomp services, and developing IT infrastructure solutions that address clients’ unique vertical-market and business challenges. In this role, he is also responsible for managing the development of go-to-market service offerings and methodologies to meet increasingly complex client needs, with consistent, high-quality results.

He earned a bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Multimedia University.

Chan Tze Ming
Executive Director

Chan Tze Ming leads a team of technology services professionals located across Malaysia. He is focused in expanding and managing Glocomp services, and developing IT infrastructure solutions that address clients’ unique vertical-market and business challenges. In this role, he is also responsible for managing the development of go-to-market service offerings and methodologies to meet increasingly complex client needs, with consistent, high-quality results.

He earned a bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Multimedia University.

Alvin Teoh Teck Leong
Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Glocomp in 2011, Alvin Teoh has been working as a Head of Finance for over 20 years in a public listed company, and a few multinational and local companies. He has worked in M-Mode Berhad, Sa Sa Cosmetics, Warner Music Malaysia, BAX Global and KPMG, just to name a few. His experiences include not only financial/corporate accounting, auditing, treasury funding and systems operations. He also had very close liaisons with distribution, retailing, business operations and domestic sourcing.

Alvin graduated with a professional degree in Accountancy from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK in 1988. He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 1994, and is granted the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) in 2012.

John Micheal
Director of Strategy and Technology

John Michael focuses on leading the Technology Practice and Strategic Growth Initiatives of the company. Since joining Glocomp in 2001, he has held roles in Engineering, Consulting, Project Management and Business Development. Prior to joining Glocomp, he was a consultant in Japanese MNC and a software engineer digitizing pharmaceutical retail chain.

He has led many Enterprise IT and Telecom technology transformational programs and initiatives for clients across industries in Malaysia and ASEAN. His deep understanding of technology and ability to drive adoption of technology with business acumen, are amongst the key contributing factors in the company’s consistent growth and in addressing clients’ ever-changing business needs.

John holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Nottingham University, and a graduate in Software Engineering.
