MALAYSIA, 15 February 2022 – Microsoft announced that pre-orders for the new Surface Laptop Studio will commence from today, 15 February in Malaysia via commercial authorized resellers and authorized retailers. In addition, the Surface Pro 8 is also now available for purchase through consumer retail channels.
Priced from RM7,399, Surface Laptop Studio is Microsoft’s most powerful Surface ever. Built as the ideal device for developers, creative pros, designers, and gamers, the device delivers the power of a desktop, the portability of a laptop, and a creative studio all in one.

With the new ultra-durable Dynamic Woven Hinge, the Surface Laptop Studio is able to transition from one mode to another seamlessly.
What’s more, the Surface Slim Pen 2 stores neatly underneath the keyboard, where it magnetically attaches and charges for easy access when inspiration strikes. In addition, the vibrant 120Hz display, Quad Omnisonic speakers, and immersive Dolby Atmos® allow users to set their imaginations free as they work, create and play on this versatile laptop, ideal for building apps, rendering videos, and streaming ultra-fast games.
Another offering for gaming enthusiasts will be the DirectX 12 Ultimate and NVIDIA® GeForce 3050 Ti laptop GPU, which now allow PC gamers to experience incredible performance and exceptional image quality that rivals reality.

Surface Pro 8
In addition to the commencement of pre-orders for Laptop Studio, Microsoft also announced that the Surface Pro 8 is now available for purchase in Malaysia through commercial authorized resellers and authorized retailers.
Combining the power of a laptop with the flexibility of a tablet, and every angle in between, the Surface Pro 8 is equipped with the iconic Kickstand and detachable Keyboard with built-in Slim Pen storage and charging.[2] Priced from RM4,950, the device features an incredible 5MP front-facing camera, 10MP-4K rear-facing camera, Dolby® Atmos sound, and dual far-field Studio Mics.
With a 13” PixelSense touchscreen that is virtually edge to edge complemented with Dolby® Vision and Adaptive Color Technology, users get to enjoy a viewing experience that is comfortable on the eyes and true to life, making this one of the most technically advanced displays by Microsoft to date.

Microsoft is also collaborating with Gloo by SNS Network and Harvey Norman to offer a new Microsoft Concierge service in Low Yat Plaza and Pavilion Bukit Jalil 2 where shoppers can seek advice on the right Microsoft Surface and Windows devices to buy, receive assistance in setting up their new devices or upgrading them to Windows 11. Users will also be guided on how they can get the most out of their Windows and Microsoft Surface devices.
