We wanted our customers to be among the first to hear our exciting news. Corel has just completed the acquisition of the Parallels business. Mac users are likely already familiar with Parallels Desktop for Mac as the #1 selling software for running Windows on macOS. In fact, we’ve been promoting Parallels Desktop as an ideal solution for our customers looking to run our Windows apps, like CorelDRAW, on a Mac for years!

Corel will now offer the full Parallels product line, including Parallels Desktop for Mac, Parallels Toolbox, and Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS) as part of our portfolio.
Parallels’ applications make it simple for customers to securely access and use the applications and files they need via any device or operating system. For example, Parallels RAS enables businesses to simply and seamlessly deliver virtual desktops and applications to any device – Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android, Chromebook, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and any device with an HTML5 web browser.

A personal favorite of mine (in addition to Parallels Desktop for Mac) is Parallels Toolbox. Whether you use a PC or Mac, this great utility features a set of invaluable time-saving tools that simplify common computing tasks down to just one click – download internet videos to watch offline, reclaim and save gigabytes of disk space, record a screen/window or area (yes, the screenshot above was created using Parallels Toolbox), and much more.

I know I speak for everyone at Corel when I say that we’re very excited to have our new Parallels team members join our company. They’re an incredible group of people who have a lot in common with our Corel team and culture – including an unwavering commitment to innovating and delivering exceptional software to our customers. If you already have a favorite Parallels application, rest assured that Corel is planning to invest in amplifying the success and growth all our new Parallels products.
