So, what do you need to know about new VideoStudio X10? In a word, it’s awesome –but don’t just take it from us!

VideoStudio Ultimate X10 was just given PC Mag’s Editors’ Choice Award and our latest review in Digital Trends was great.

As for what’s new, you’ll find all kinds of exciting new features as part of the  VideoStudio X10 family that will truly enhance and improve your video editing experience. For example, now you can layer transparent tracks and see two or more scenes at the same time, or convert your 360 footage for viewing on standard video players and TV to watch and share your experiences on the big screen.

• New Mask Creator: In VideoStudio Ultimate X10 you can now make custom video masks to put the focus on the key elements in your video. Add blurring, greyscale or other fun effects highlight and add impact to elements in your video.
• New Track Transparency: Easily adjust the opacity of tracks to see two or more scenes at the same time. Easily fade in, fade out or superimpose effects and see more action at once.
• New Time Remapping: Play with speed using easy-to-use controls that let you add Slow Motion or High-Speed effects, freeze the action in your video or reverse and replay scenes. All the tools you need for speed effects are now in one place.
• New 360 Video Support: If you have captured some great 360 footage that you want to share then VideoStudio X10 has you covered! Take your 360 video to the big screen by controlling the angle your audience sees – ensuring they don’t miss any of the important moments of the visual journey. Convert your 360 video for playback on standard video players.
• New Premium Effects:  In VideoStudio Ultimate X10 enjoy 3 new effect packs from industry leaders NewBlueFX, Boris FX and proDAD. Add impact with new particle effect overlays and professional 2D- and 3D-title editing. Give your video its own unique look with these popular filters.
• New Templates in VideoStudio MyDVD: When you’re done putting together your video add image-rich menus and music to your video discs with VideoStudio MyDVD, which has more than a 100 themed templates to choose from in VideoStudio Ultimate X10 and 50 templates in VideoStudio Pro X10.
• New! Integrated learning materials: Also visit the new Welcome tab in VideoStudio to easily access learning resources, video tutorials, additional templates, effect packs and more.
